From Prototypes to Factories: Cleantech for CEE at the Cleantech for Europe Summit

Our execs at the congress.

During the Cleantech for Europe Summit in Brussels, our team joined high-level policy and industry leaders to explore a critical shift in the European narrative: the transition from local cleantech innovation to full-scale industrial resilience.

In today’s geopolitically uncertain landscape, the energy transition has evolved beyond climate goals into a matter of hard security and economic sovereignty for the continent. The consensus across European regions was clear: to avoid trading one dependency for another, Europe must urgently transform from a "continent of prototypes" into a "continent of factories."

The Central and Eastern European region is uniquely positioned to serve as a strategic asset in this transformation. With a strong industrial heritage and a proven capacity for rapid execution, CEE can bridge the gap between European innovation and mass commercialization. Realizing this potential requires moving from analysis to action by building the local value chains necessary to ensure Europe remains a resilient, independent global producer capable of securing its own future.

Cleantech for CEE remains committed to positioning our region as a hub for this industrial renewal, fostering the partnerships and policy frameworks needed to turn green technology into a pillar of regional and continental security.
