Cleantech for CEE Participates in Strategic Discussion About Polish Presidency

Debate

Cleantech for CEE joined a high-level debate at Polityka Insight's Warsaw headquarters last week, bringing together representatives from public administration, expert communities, and air quality organizations to review Poland's EU Council presidency achievements and identify future challenges.

The discussion highlighted an encouraging trend: environmental and innovation agendas are becoming increasingly aligned at the strategic level. During the second session, participants explored how clean air support programs could be more deliberately connected to technological advancement and innovation initiatives.

When Magdalena Jablonska raised this integration opportunity, Minister Krzysztof (Chris) Bolesta provided a positive response, signaling that such coordination is already under development. This commitment suggests a shift toward smarter public policy that recognizes innovation ecosystems as essential partners in achieving environmental objectives.

The event demonstrated growing momentum for dialogue between policymakers and innovation leaders, pointing toward a future where environmental priorities and the development of a modern, innovation-driven economy are pursued hand in hand. Cleantech for CEE welcomes this strategic direction and looks forward to contributing to these critical conversations.
